Who We Are

Welcome to Northern California Nannies Agency, founded in 1986.

Our son was born in 1984. We moved to Victoria, Canada shortly after his birth and I started searching for a reliable, caring and compatible nanny.

I signed up with a Nanny agency in Victoria and found a wonderful nanny for our son. We moved back to California in 1986 and I decided that there was a pressing need for reliable and caring childcare.

I started NorthernCaliforniaNannies,based on the principles of personal care, involvement and compassion reinforced by my own experiences in finding and hiring a person to help raise our son.  Northern California Nannies Agency soon became the region’s leading Nanny Referral Agency.

In 1993, I decided to spend more time traveling with my family.

Our son is now graduating from college and I have decided to reopen Northern California Nannies based on the same original principles and personal involvement.

I look forward to assisting you with finding childcare that will give your children the care, concern and compatibility that all families need in their busy lives today.
